We are now running our outdoor class in Edgware on Saturdays! Utilising some great spots in Edgware the meeting point will be at Edgware station at 2pm. This class is open to all abilities so come on down and challenge yourself this weekend! Check the class page for more details and the enrollment form.
Physical Ballet is a fusion of Parkour and Ballet.
For the last few weeks team member Joanne has been meeting up with the other Big Dance groups for rehearsals towards this Saturday’s performance in Trafalgar Square. The piece has come together really nicely in this time and she is feeling confident for the big day. On Sunday’s rehearsal Wayne McGregor, resident choreographer for the Royal Ballet as well as movement director for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 
, dropped in to see the girls in action and rated their performance 9/10!
“The groups involved represent a huge range of dance styles including Bollywood, Hip Hop, Line Dancing, Street, Contemporary, Ballet, Latin- American and Ballroom. All those different styles will
be pulled together into one to realise McGregor’s grand vision, and the sheer number of bodies dancing on July 14 should turn Trafalgar Square into a colourful and thrilling mass of infectious energy.” Timeout
The event takes place this Saturday 14th July in Trafalgar Square, big screens go on at 3pm and the performance starts at 4pm, however as it will be very busy we suggest getting there with plenty of time to enjoy the show.
This coming Sunday (15th April) The Saiyans will be having their annual Parkour Easter Egg Hunt in Broadfields, Edgware and you’re all invited. We hide a load of Cadburys eggs around the “Black square” on top of walls, at the bottom of precision jumps, round the back of rails and so on..cant tell ya all of them but you will have to use Parkour to get em all we have a set time and teams of 2/
Then we go jumping for the rest of the day,Come on down its a real fun day and if you got small kids they will love the combo of PK nd Egg hunt. Bring friends and family, all is welcome at Parkour Easter Egg Hunt with the S.P.A!!! Check out the Facebook event page
We are pleased to announce a new SPA class in Edmonton – Croyland Youth Centre in association with Metropolitan Housing Partnership on Friday nights as part of the new Generation 2012 programme. The project is one of only a handful to be backed by London 2012 and the classes will form part of the official Games legacy programme!! Our Outdoor class had taken on a new identity for the remaining winter months. Taking advantage of the dark evenings and tougher weather conditions, the Black ops class takes the form of missions and challenges to push physical and mental endurance. Running on a new day and time of 6-8pm on Wednesday, the class is open to all but it is aimed more at intermediate level participants. Check the Black Ops Class page for details.
Time to work off those mince pies and xmas pudding! This Thursday, 5th January, the SPA will be having an open training session in Black Square, Broadfields from 4:30 til late. The focus of the session will be warm ups, stretching and mobility with some light movements. Hope to see you all at the 1st SPA open of 2012, let us know if you can make it
The Indoor class on the 13th December and the Outdoor class on the 15th December will be out last for 2011. So make sure you head down for some pre-Christmas training. If you haven’t already, come along to our new Indoor class at Vale Farm Sports Centre, North Wembley. There’s only 1 more SaiyanBall tournament before 2012 so don’t miss out.
Classes will resume early in the New year with the 1st Indoor class taking place on the 10th January 2012 and Outdoor class on the 12th January. Hope to see you all before the Christmas break but if not have a great holiday and see you all in the New Year!

Our first two indoor classes have gone great and we have had a lot of good feedback. We appreciate though that it is a struggle for a lot of people to get to Vale Farm for 5pm. So we are pushing the class back by an hour, so we will now be starting at 6pm and finishing at 8pm. Hopefully this will help with those of you who are travelling to class after work, school or work.

We have a brand new indoor class starting on 22nd November 2011 at Vale Farm Sports Centre, North Wembley. It will run on Tuesdays from 5-7pm and is open to all abilities. This will give participants a chance to practise in a well equipped sports hall and without having to brave the winter weather. This also allows a lot of movements to be focused on that are trickier in wet conditions. Click here for more details.
Our outdoor session will still be running on Thursdays 5-7pm, but now as a mixed ability session.
The open session will now be running on Wednesdays 4.30 onwards, instead of Tuesdays.
